We are a family run business with our beginnings in 2000 in a small office/warehouse space in the Scottsdale Airpark. It began with one 8-head machine.
A year later, a move to a larger space while staying in the Airpark, gave us the opportunity to add 2 more 8-head machines. We have stayed in the same location since.
The man at the helm of Carefree Embroidery, is Bill Hyland. He was associated in the retail industry as a territory rep for over 20 years. Constantly being on the road, and a family at home, it was to make a change. He knew enough about the embroidery business that he knew that was the direction he wanted to go.
So, off and running he went. Along with a machine operator he has had for 20 years and a quality control employee who has been with him for 19 years, they have built the business.
Bill has always had something to do with the golf industry. Living down the street from Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania and caddying at a young age, he fell in with golf. His first order was doing the caddy jackets for the Countrywide Tradition at Desert Mountain Golf Club.
We're still tied to the golf industry with the work we do. But with word of mouth from so many businessmen golfers, we also enjoy building our corporate, medical, and fundraising clientele.
We enjoying what we do and have a fun time doing it. Our customers become family.
